It was moved by Ms. Hosterman, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to approve the plans <br />and specifications for this project; review the bids and award a construction <br />contract for the subject project to M.A. Lindquist Co., Inc. for the low bid amount <br />of $2,725,163; and authorize the City Manager to enter into the above contract. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6E <br />Ordinance 1899. Establishment of development standards and design Lmidelines for <br />lots less than six (6) acres in size in Subarea of the Happy Valley Specific Plan. <br /> <br />Bdan Swift, presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Jerry Wagner, 6344 Alisal Street, believed the ordinance had changed since it was <br />approved at the prior meeting. <br /> <br /> Kevin Close, 871 Sycamore Road, disagreed with the third paragraph in the <br />ordinance as he believed it contradicted Council and staff's actions concerning the Happy <br />Valley Specific Plan. He suggested paragraph three be completely moved from the <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> Vanessa Kawalhau, 871 Sycamore Road, cencurred with the previous speakers' <br />comments. She thanked staff for increasing the notification area. She was concerned that <br />the ordinance did not protect the agricultural land in allowing for animals. <br /> <br /> In response to an inquiry by Mr. Brozosky, Mr. Swift stated that the direction by <br />Council to extend noticing up to 1,000 feet, and the inclusion that the Planning <br />Commission be a part of the design review process are found on Page 5, Subsection D.4. <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to adopt Ordinance No. <br />1899 approving the application of the City of Pleasanton for a PUD Development <br />Plan Approval as ~ed under Case PUD-3, with conditions as set forth as "Exhibit <br />A' to the ordinance. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and <br /> <br /> Mayor Plco <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Pleasant City Council 27 10/21/03 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
