Darryl Alexander, 147 Old Bemal Avenue, President of the Pleasanton <br />Downtown Association, stated that the Board of Directors of the PDA unanimously <br />supports the proposed ordinance. As a downtown business owner, he also sees this as a <br />benefit to them. <br /> <br /> Michael O'Callaghan, 125 W. Neal Street, believed the staff and Pleasanton <br />Downtown Association had worked very well together, and encouraged Council to <br />support the proposed ordinance. <br /> <br /> Chris Beratlis, I0 Beratlis Place, a member of the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Association, fully supported the parking ordinance, and believed it would help the <br />downtown. <br /> <br /> Kurt Kummer, 4456 Clovewood Lane, mentioned that people notice things about <br />Pleasanton; particularly the free parking that is available in the downtown and its <br />availability. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Hosterman, seconded by Mr. Brozosky, to introduce <br />Ordinance No. 1898, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />amending Chapter 18.88 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code perta'ming to the <br />Parking Regulations for the Downtown Revitalization District <br /> <br />The roll call vote was taken as follows: <br />AYES: Councflmembers - Ayala, Campell, Brozosky, and Hosterman <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: Mayor Pico <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />PUD-31~ City of Pleasanton. (SR 03:281) <br />Application for a comprehensive master Planned Unit Development (PUD) development <br />plan to establish a development standards and design guidelines for all lots less than six <br />(6) acres in size that are located in the PUD - Semi-Rural Density Residential (SRDR)- <br />zoned Subarea of the Happy Valley Specific Plan. <br /> <br />Brian Swift presented the staffreport. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Campbell stated that he is having difficulty understanding the <br />concept the Planning Commission is recommending, i.e., that all custom homes in the <br />PUD be subject to review and approval by the Planning Commission.
