It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to introduce Ordinance No. <br />1891, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the <br />application for PUD development plan approval to subdivide an existing 1.67-acre site into <br />two single-family residential lots located at 2201 Martin Avenue, and deleting the last <br />sentence in design guideline No. 3.6. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councllmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6f <br />PAP-53 (PTR-7399~ Northstar Construction and Development). (SR 03:226) <br />Appeal of the Planning Commission's denial of an application to subdivide an <br />approximately 27.6 acre site into 19 new single-family lots~ one lot for the existing <br />residence~ and three open space parcels located at 1944 and 2200 Vineyard Avenue. <br /> <br />This item was continued to the meeting of August 19, 2003. <br /> <br />Item 6g <br />Request for funds for the Adopt-a-Unit program to bring four military, personnel to the <br />August 16~ 2003 Tri-Valley Welcome Home event. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Pico, seconded by Ms. Hosterman, to authorize expending <br />up to $1,600 for reimbursement of travel expenses subject to the receipt of expense <br />vouchers to the City of Pleasanton for transportation of up to four military personnel to <br />attend the 8/16/03 event. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councllmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell questioned the fact that a Commissioner recused himself because of a <br />conflict of interest, but then addressed the Planning Commission as a private citizen. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush explained the conflict of interest rules provide that if someone owns property <br />within 500 feet of the subject, that person is required to leave the dais and the room.
