It was moved by Mayor Pico, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to adopt Resolution No.
03-061, adjusting the Lower Income Housing Fee for single family detached houses in
excess of 1,500 square feet to $8,650, for single family detached houses that are 1,500
square fee or less, the fee would be $2,144; for multi-family units the fee would be $2,144;
and for COl the fee is $2.28 per square foot.

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman, and Mayor Pico
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Mr. Bocian said his only comment on this change was that the nexus study did not look at
housing size for a single family residence. There is a credit for rental units in part because they
are smaller, so he believed there was enough nexus. This will send a message to developers that
Council would like to see a smaller product.

Item 6c
Budget Update Report.. (SR 03:129)

Deborah McKeehan said the report had been prepared to be given to Council in advance
of the budget. It will be ready for Council on May 26, 2003. If this item is cominued again,
Council will already have the budget.

There were no questions from Council and the written report was accepted as presented..

Item 6d
Approval of Reimbursement Agreement with Dublin for final design and construction of
the 1-580 at El Charro/Fallon Road interchange. (SR 03:121)

Mayor Pico indicated staff had already presented the report on this item and there had
been discussion at the last meeting. He received a call from Mayor Lockhart from Dublin asking
that Council approve this agreement in light of the long term agreements and relationships
between the two cities and not to confuse this agreement with prior agreements regarding
Hacienda or other areas. Dublin is making good faith efforts to comply with those agreements.

Mr. Brozosky asked if the loop ramp would be sufficient to build out or would further
improvements be necessary.

Mr. Wilson said there are expectations for furore improvements to the E1 Charro
interchange beyond this project. Those improvements would not affect the way the currently
proposed loop will be constructed.

Pleasanton City Council 20 05/20/03
Minutes
