It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Mr. Brozosky, to introduce <br />Ordinance 1882, establishing a 35 mph speed limit on Stoneridge Drive, from <br />Newton Drive to the east end of the roadwayand to direct staff to place appropriate <br />signage for schools in the school areas. (SR 03:096) <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember - Ayala, Brozosky, Hosterman, and Vice Mayor <br /> Campbell <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to reaffirm the <br />existing 30 mph speed limit on Old Stanley Boulevard between Santa Rita Road and <br />First Street. (SR 03:096) <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember - Ayala, Brozosky, Hosterman and Vice Mayor <br /> Campbell <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6g <br />General Plan Review Process (SR 03:102) <br /> <br />Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky asked for an explanation as to what the difference was between a <br />commission meeting, a town meeting, and a neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swirl said the intention of a neighborhood meeting was to have several <br />directed meetings where the City knew there were particular issues. Those would be <br />hosted by the Planning Commission, but would probably take place in the neighborhood <br />itself. The City is trying to have the type of outreach established during the last process <br />with the large citizen participation that is anticipated. The town meeting will open up a <br />joint workshop with the City Council and Planning Commission to anyone within the <br />community to talk about any issue throughout the entire city rather than a particular <br />neighborhood. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brozosky looked at Option Two and asked about the timelines scheduled and <br />asked if staff can meet these deadlines. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 24 04/15/03 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
