Frederick Bates, 100 Pasadera Drive, Monterey, California, a principal in New Cities Development Group, responded to comments made at the Pleasanton City Council Meeting of April 1, 2003 by the Thomas Ranch Homeowners Association in San Ramon and by H. Abrams Wilson, Mayor of San Ramon. Mr. Bates explained that the discussion of the Sycamore Specific Plan started in the 1980's and was finally adopted June 1992. A great deal of time, study, consideration, money and participation, on behalf of the city and residents, went into this Plan. Great detail is spelled out concerning improvements, densities, setbacks, cost sharing and other pertinent information for the future development of the properties in the Sycamore Specific Plan.
