There was a recess called at 9:15 p.m. <br /> <br /> The City Council Meeting was reconvened at 9:25 p.m. <br /> <br /> Item 6a was heard after Item 6b. <br /> <br />Item 6b <br />PAP-42~ (PCUP-36~ Tob¥'s Bar and Grill} <br />Appeal of the Planning Commission's decision modifying a conditional use permit for <br />alcohol beverage service after 10:00 p.m. at Tob¥'s Bar and Grill located at 30 W. Ncal <br />Street~ Suite 110. (SR03:004) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> The public hearing was opened. There were no public speakers. <br /> <br /> The public hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brozosky, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to adopt Resolution No. 03- <br />005 to deny the appeal of PAP-42 (Toby's Bar and Grill) thereby approving the <br />modification to the conditional use permit for alcohol beverage service after 10:00 p.m. at <br />30 W. Neal Street, Suite 110 (Toby's Bar & Grill). <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Couneilmembers Ayala, Brozosky, Campbell, Hosterman and Mayor Pieo <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Item 6a <br />First Quarter 2002-03 Financial Report <br />(SR 03:009) <br /> <br />Sue Rossi presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala said we know there will eventually be cuts coming from the State, but we do <br />not yet know in what areas, should we start looking for ways to cut before the cuts are absolutely <br />necessary. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan said that she and Ms. Rossi continuously look at this issue. The Capital <br />Improvement Program budget should be looked at separately from the Operating Budget.
