Mr. Brozosky also thanked everyone for the opportunity to be on the Council. He <br />thanked Ms. Miehelotti and Ms. Dennis for their service over the years and for adhering to the <br />term limits, which provided the opportunity for him and Ms. Hosterman to take on a position of <br />leadership. He thanked his family for their tolerance and support during the campaign. He <br />thanked his campaign manager, Marian Leach, as well as all those who supported him. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pice said it was an incredible honor to be reelected by the people of Pleasanton. <br />He thanked those who helped in the campaign, Campaign Chair Chris and Brian Bourg, friend <br />Terry Carl, the firefighters for their help, his family and especially his wife, Karen. Over the <br />next two years, he will do the best he can to represent the interests of the citizens of Pleasanton. <br />There are some big challenges like the Bemal Property Plan, the golf course, the Vineyard <br />Corridor issues, eastside studies, West Las Positas interchange, etc. He said he remained <br />committed to achieving affordable housing within the community for senior citizens, workforce <br />housing and those in need. He hoped to continue working with the Chamber of Commerce and <br />the business community to make Pleasanton a great place to live, work, play and do business. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala congratulated Mayor Pico, Ms. Hosterman and Mr. Brozosky. She will enjoy <br />the energy they bring to the Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell indicated he looked forward to working with the new Councilmembers and <br />the Mayor. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />There were Done. <br /> <br />4. (SR 02:282). <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 02-129, canvassing the election returns and declaring the results <br />of the November 5, 2002 Regular Municipal Election.
