4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that the following actions <br />on the Consent Calendar be taken: <br /> <br />a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 10/15/02. <br /> <br />Approve monthly disbursements, Investment Report, COPS AB 3229 Expenditure <br />Reports and claims for the month of September 2002 in the amount of $9,633,533.40. <br />(SR 02:257) <br /> <br />Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 02:051) <br />No action was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br />Approved the contract with Pattillo & Garrett Associates to provide design services for <br />the Alviso Adobe Community Park, Project No. 987025; and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute the agreement. (SR 02:261) <br /> <br />Adopted Ordinance No. 1871, authorizing an amendment to the contract between the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton and the Board of Administration of the California <br />Public Employees' Retirement System. <br /> <br />Traffic Committee Minutes of October 3, 2002. (IR 02:053). <br />This item was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />Adopted Resolution No. 02-119, amending the 2001-02 Operating Budget; approving the <br />Operating Budget carryovers; amending the 2001-02 Capital Improvement Program <br />(CIP) appropriations to agree with 2001-02 actual expenditures; approving the Capital <br />Improvement Budget carryovers; fully appropriating all General Fund Reserves and <br />making designations as shown on page 8 of the staff report, including adding $2.5 million <br />to the Capital Projects Reserve to be used in Fiscal Year 2002-03 for the City's share of <br />the Vineyard Corridor Phase I infrastructure improvements; and fully appropriating all <br />other balances as shown in Appendix B and D of the staffreport and designating them as <br />contingency reserves for existing and future, known and unknown, obligations. <br />(SR 02:265) <br /> <br />Approved an agreement with Square Peg Design to provide design and specifications for <br />City entryway signage for an estimated fee of $14,700 plus reimbursement for expenses <br />estimated at $2,000 and a contingency amount of $2,000 for a total estimated project cost <br />of $18,700. (SR 02:116) <br /> <br />Accepted the annual report and 2003 budget for the Pleasanton Downtown Business <br />Improvement District and set a public hearing date of November 19, 2002 to levy the <br />annual assessments.
