Adopted Resolution No. 02-109, authorizing an application to LAFCo for Annexation <br />No. 143 (Busch Property), the annexation of approximately 95 acres to the City of <br />Pleasanton; adopted Resolution No. 02-I 10, agreeing to the exchange of property tax <br />revenue under the standard property tax exchange formula; and directed staff to notify the <br />applicant that it is required to prepare the necessary maps and pay all the required <br />annexation fees. (SR 02:244) <br /> <br />Adopted Ordinance No. 1869, amending Chapters 20.04 through 20.58 of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code concerning the adoption of the 2001 edition of the California Building <br />Standards Code (24 C.C.R.), including by reference the Uniform Codes for Building <br />(Parts 1, 2, 3); Fire (Parts 1 and 2); Plumbing; Mechanical; the 1999 National Electrical <br />Code; and Administrative Provisions for the 1999 National Electrical Code. <br /> <br />no <br /> <br />Commending Nancy Bering for outstanding volunteer service with Friends of the <br />Library. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Conncilmembers- Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> The City Clerk administered the oath of office to the following newly appointed and <br />reappointed commission and committee members: Civic Arts - R. Jo Molz; Economic Vitality <br />Committee - Sonu Agarwal, Julie Robey; Human Services Commission - Meribeth Detweiler, <br />Ann Radford, Carol Sparks; Library Commission - Joan Leighty, Debbie Look, Margo Tarver, <br />David Bright; Youth Commission - Terry Edwards, Tyler Sussman, Chip Testa, Matthew <br />Tarzwell, Scott Tucker; and South Livermore Valley Agricultural Land Trust -Jon Harvey. <br /> <br /> Plaques were presented to Jill Reiley (Civic A~ts CoInmission) and Lois Lutz (South <br />Livermore Valley Agricultural Land Trust) in appreciation of their services. Appreciation was <br />also expressed for the following persons who were unable to attend the meeting: Otis Nostrand <br />(Economic Vitality Committee), Ken Koenen and Ann Radford (Library Commission); and <br />Matin Golden, Amy Tasker and Laura Wheatman (Youth Commission). <br /> <br />5.
