Mayor Pico noted that staff had continued agenda item 4d regarding the contract with <br />Wolfe, Mason & Associates concerning Kottinger Park Creek, had been continued. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that the following <br />actions on the Consent Calendar be taken: <br /> <br />a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 07/09/02 and 07/16/02. <br /> <br />Approved the Reimbursement Agreement with Greenbriar Community Homes for the <br />cost of grading the new roadway alignment for Vineyard Avenue and the cost of <br />procurement of consulting engineering services; authorized the City Manager to enter <br />into the agreements; authorized the transfer of $1,025,000 from the General Fund to <br />cover the cost of roadway grading and storm water detention basin construction until <br />such time as a financing agreement between the City and Pleasanton School District is <br />implemented for the Vineyard Corridor infrastructure improvements; and authorized the <br />transfer of $165,000 from the General/fund to cover the cost of consulting engineering <br />services for the support of construction activities related to Vineyard Avenue grading <br />until such time as a financing agreement between the City and the Pleasanton School <br />District is implemented for the Vineyard Corridor infrastructure improvements. (SR <br />02:142) <br /> <br />Approval of Consultant Agreements and Contract Amendments to provide Engineering <br />Services for the Construction of Roadway Grading for the Realignment of Vineyard <br />Avenue. <br />This item was combined in the staff report for 4b above. <br /> <br />Agreement with Wolfe, Mason & Associates regarding Kottinger Park Creek. <br />This item was continued to 09/03/02. <br /> <br />Approved plans and specifications for resurfacing of various city streets, Project No. <br />015003RS; reviewed the bids and awarded the construction contract to Redgwick <br />Construction Co. for a low bid of $837,444.40; authorized the City Manager to execute <br />the contract; and authorized the Interim Director of Engineering to approve and execute <br />contract change orders for a contingency amount not to exceed $167,500 (20% of <br />construction bid), if necessary, for related subject project work. (SR 02:182) <br /> <br />Ms. Michelotti referred to the use of fabric on the Bonde Court overlay. She had thought <br />it was to be totally reconstructed. <br /> <br />Mayor Pico asked if notice was given on the City's website about street work.
