__ Mayor Pico asked for a definitive date for a workshop on the traffic model and the results <br /> of the traffic metering on Sunol Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan indicated staffwas trying to schedule a meeting the last week of August <br />to discuss a number of traffic issues. <br /> <br />Ms. Dennis indicated she will be out of town August 18 to 26. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala inquired about the gas station at West Las Positas and Hopyard where the <br />pumps have been torn up. She wanted to know if that was because of any leaks and expressed <br />concern about MTBE. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan believed that was a routine update of tanks, but staffwould inquire and <br />report back to Council. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala asked for staff to provide an update on Muirwood Park. She also asked if it <br />were normal for only 24-hour notices for roadwork. <br /> <br /> Mr. Grubstick said the normal procedure is to give 48-hours notice and door hangers are <br />placed at each residence. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti said she has received several negative emails about the Sunol metering. <br />She did hear from an individual with a positive comment. She believed that traffic will simply <br />go to the next exit fi-om 680 on Bernal Avenue. She wanted to discuss that at the traffic <br />workshop. She also expressed concern about the timing of traffic lights at Hacienda and West <br />Las Positas and at Hacienda and Gibraltar. She thanked staff for the street cleaning downtown <br />and indicated she had received complimentary comments. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br />No action was required on this item. <br /> <br />9.
