That is not in writing, however in discussion with the <br /> Vineyard developers, experience has been that when they say they will do something, they do it. <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan indicated that before the City signs the development agreements, staff <br />would confirm this commitment. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala said she had great faith in the developers, but they are also being given a girl <br />by this agreement and she wanted to make sure this is in writing. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis said she was very happy about this agreement and looked forward to <br />construction of the roads and development of the school site. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pico said the realignment of the Vineyard Corridor has been a high priority of his. <br />He was delighted to see this project proceed on a timely basis. He echoed the comments of the <br />other Councilmembers and expressed thanks to the School District and its staff. The developers <br />worked with staffon access and easements. This is a very important project for the City of <br />Pleasanton to accomplish. It allows the District to build a school when it is ready; provides <br />safety improvements; and greater trails and open space access. It is truly another striking <br />example of cooperation between the District and the City. On behalf of the City he thanked the <br />District and its staff. He also commented that City staff should be commended and expressed his <br />appreciation for their work. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to authorize the City <br />Manager to execute the Financing Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the <br />Pleasanton Unified School District; to adopt Resolution No. 027087, declaring the official <br />intent to reimburse expenditures from the proceeds of tax exempt securities; and to <br />authorize a preliminary advance of up to $1,025,000 for the grading work necessary to <br />allow PG&E to locate a new 230kV transmission line in the new realigned Vineyard <br />Avenue, with the likelihood that PG&E will reimburse the City for about $400,000 of that <br />amount. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Campbell <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />5.
