Wolfe, Director of Parks and Community Services; Gail
Gilpin, Economic Development Manager; and Dave Iremonger, Financial Services
Manager/Treasurer.

3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS

Staff requested that the Council's decision to approve or appeal item 4i, PUD-98-02-4M,
Harris, be continued to 5/21/02.

MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL

It was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to reconsider the previous
meeting's motion regarding a Council-sponsored initiative regarding the Bernal property.

The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Ms. McKeehan indicated that because of the absences of some Councilmembers, this
item would not be able to be on the next agenda. After discussion, it was determined that this
would be on the agenda for June 4, 2002.

Mr. Roush clarified that the motion being reconsidered was a motion to place on the
ballot a measure similar to that of the citizens' initiative but to strike the language that prohibits
housing of any type on city-owned land within the Specific Plan boundaries, but keeping the
provision to prohibit the transfer or sale of city-owned land within the Specific Plan boundaries
and to require all such land to be accessible by the public.

4. CONSENT CALENDAR

It was moved by Mayor Pico, seconded by Mr. Campbell, that the following actions
on the Consent Calendar be taken, except for 4i, which decision was continued, and with
respect to 4c, that the staff recommendation be approved subject to staff's review of the
issues raised by Mr. Eastman:

a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 4/16/02.

Mr. Campbell referred to the comments of Mr. Sullivan on page 7 of the Minutes and his
reference to 600 units. That implies that 600 units would be on the property. He suggested a
footnote to explain that was a proposal raised in a subcommittee or some other explanation.

Pleasanton City Council 2 05/07/02
Minutes
