AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Staff requested that the Council's decision to approve or appeal item 4i, PUD-98-02-4M, <br />Harris, be continued to 5/21/02. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to reconsider the previous <br />meeting's motion regarding a Council-sponsored initiative regarding the Bernal property. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. McKeehan indicated that because of the absences of some Councilmembers, this <br />item would not be able to be on the next agenda. After discussion, it was determined that this <br />would be on the agenda for June 4, 2002. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush clarified that the motion being reconsidered was a motion to place on the <br />ballot a measure similar to that of the citizens' initiative but to strike the language that prohibits <br />housing of any type on city-owned land within the Specific Plan boundaries, but keeping the <br />provision to prohibit the transfer or sale of city-owned land within the Specific Plan boundaries <br />and to require all such land to be accessible by the public. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Pico, seconded by Mr. Campbell, that the following actions <br />on the Consent Calendar be taken, except for 4i, which decision was continued, and with <br />respect to 4c, that the staff recommendation be approved subject to staff's review of the <br />issues raised by Mr. Eastman: <br /> <br />a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 4/16/02. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell referred to the comments of Mr. Sullivan on page 7 of the Minutes and his <br />reference to 600 units. That implies that 600 units would be on the property.
