Michael O'Callaghan, 125 West Neal Street, indicated he had some concerns about this item and would like it removed from the Consent Calendar. He had been having difficulty getting information about the development of the Civic Center. Ms. McKeehan indicated this issue could not be continued because of timing issues involving moving employees out of leased space into the 157 Main Street building. She asked if she could answer Mr. O'Callaghan's questions as the meeting is going on to see if she could address his concerns. She explained that this item does not deal with the long term plans for the Civic Center site. The Downtown Economic Vitality Committee has the lead role in the process of reviewing site design plans for this site. The City is not moving forward with those plans until staff can meet with that group. Mayor Pico moved this item to item 6i. Approved the selection of the Bemal Avenue and Oak Vista location for the construction of the new Fire Station Number Four and approved the proposed Site Plan for the project.
