Ihe people of this community will be talking about what they want on this property 25 and 50 years from now and he feels thrilled that the City has a legacy to leave to future generations. Ms. Michelotti asked about the next steps to be taken. She said she could not support waiting until after November. She could have supported going through the process now. Then, at least, the people would have the option to embrace a plan that the Task Force put together. Mr. Campbell wanted clarification as to what would happen next if Option Two were adopted. After the election in November the City would take the bullet points in Option One and implement them. Ms. McKeehan said that is correct, along with the rest of the work plan that the Council established. It was moved by Ms. Ayala, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to approve Option Two, to postpone review of thc Task Force Plan until after the public has had the opportunity to vote on the Bernal Property.
