Mr. Roush indicated there were two items regarding pending litigation (City of <br />Pleasanton v. Regional Water Quality Control Board and Shaffer, et al v. City of Pleasanton) that <br />arose after the posting of the agenda, and which needed Council direction before the next <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to adopt Resolution No. <br />02-031, adding the two items for discussion in closed session. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers- Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />4. CONSENTCALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Campbell, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that the following <br />actions be taken: <br /> <br />a. Approved the City Council Minutes for 03/05/02. <br /> <br />Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 02:011) <br />No action was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br />Accepted public improvements for Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Softball <br />Complex replacement lighting, Project No. 997038; authorized the City Clerk to file a <br />Notice of Completion for the subject project; authorized final payment to CTS <br />Northwest, Inc. (dba Double B Electric) in the amount of $529.20; and authorized <br />payment of the retention in the amount of $5,413.50 to CTS Northwest, Inc. (dba Double <br />B Electric), thirty days after filing the Notice of Completion. (SR 02:063) <br /> <br />Accepted public improvements for Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park pathway <br />lighting, Project No. 987063; authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for <br />the subject project; authorized final payment to CTS Northwest, Inc. (dba Double B <br />Electric) in the amount of $354.76; and authorized payment of the retention in the <br />amount of $4,491.43 to CTS Northwest, Inc.(dba Double B Electric), thirty days after <br />filing the Notice of Completion. (SR 02:062) <br /> <br />Approved plans and specifications for roadway improvements and traffic signal at the <br />comer of First and Kottinger Streets, Project Nos. 005035 and 995030, Phase I; reviewed <br />the bids and awarded the construction contract for the project to Redgwick Construction <br />Company of Hayward for a low bid of $219,848; authorized the City Manager to enter <br />into the above contract; and authorized the Director of Public Works to approve and <br />execute contract change orders for a contingency amount not to exceed $44,000 (15% of <br />construction bid plus signal equipment), if necessary, for related project work. <br />(SR 02:069) <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 2 03/19/02 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
