Ms. McKeehan said the sale of property has already been addressed. The Task Force does not want to sell any property. As staff' has looked at the train station issue, it has never envisioned that a sale of property would be necessary. She thought it would be part of an overall picture with the County over a variety of things we are interested in acquiring from one another. Mayor Pico wanted to make this as general as possible and hoped to get some kind of report that would allow Council to continue the dialogue. Ms. McKeehan said staff is trying to have this completed and back to Council by May. It was moved by Mayor Pico, seconded by Mr. Campbell, to direct the two Bernal Task Forces and staff to draft a specific plan for the publicly held portions of the Bernal Property, showing a park like setting on the property, and would include policies for determining future uses on the property and a process that the City would follow in the ultimate development of the property.
