Ms. Ayala asked about a review of the conservation easements before they come before <br />the organization. <br /> <br /> Mr. O'Malley said there is a committee currently working on financing governance and <br />that could be considered. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti referred to contributions from other cities and asked if that was for the <br />general fund rather than specifically for the agricultural portion like Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Mr. O'Malley said the other contributions were going for general purposes. They have <br />received $175,000 from the Irvine Foundation and Alameda County is proposing $125,000 to the <br />Agricultural Advisory Committee. The campaign to the rest of the cities is just now being <br />formulated. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis said there are also ongoing efforts to raise money for staffing from the federal <br />and state govemments. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Ayala, to approve the request for <br />$25,000 to assist the Tri-Valley Business Council with the development of the Tri-Valley <br />Agricultural Enterprise Plan. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />8. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> <br /> There was discussion about the date for the next joint meeting between the City Council <br />and School Board.
