<br />Program and recognized business in operation in Pleasanton for 15 years. The following
<br />business were unable to attend the meeting: Clover Creek, Hand Rehabilitation, Print Resources,
<br />Chromagraphics, Heating Science of Pleasanton, Hewlett Packard, Nob Hill Foods, The Foot
<br />Doctor, Stone & Webster Engineering, Pleasanton Recreational Vehicle, Child & Family
<br />Therapy, Cost Plus Sales & Leasing, Voss Materials, Inc., Hunan Chef Wong Chinese
<br />Restaurant, Maestro's, Pleasanton Metal & Paint Works, Total Life Chiropractor Center, Rathjen
<br />& Karen Van Zino, M.D., Compusol, Inc., Harland, Encore Theatrical Supply, Best Friend's,

<br /> Councilmember Ayala presented plaques to representatives fi.om the following
<br />businesses in operation in Pleasanton for 15 years: Garlex Pizza, Jewelers Gallery, Compaq
<br />Computer, Schafer's Bakery, Management Recruiters, Sallman, Yang & Alameda, S.C.J.
<br />Insurance Services, McNichols, Randick, O'Dea & Tooliatos, Charles Huff, Architect, and
<br />Martin Staffing Resources.

<br /> Linda Martin, Martin Staffing Resources, indicated she was proud to do business for
<br />fifteen years in such a wonderful city as Pleasanton. She encouraged people to do business with
<br />independent business people in Pleasanton. She looked forward to another fifteen years in the
<br />community.
<br />
<br /> Michael Kyle, McNichols, Randick, O'Dea & Tooliatos, also appreciated having a
<br />business in Pleasanton. He said most of the lawyers and staff in the firm lived in and
<br />participated in the community. Steve McNichols recently headed the "Walk for the Gold" which
<br />raised over $100,000 for the Special Olympics. He thanked Council for the honor.

<br /> Kenneth Rief, Compaq Computer Corporation, indicated Compaq is a global company
<br />with people from all over the world coming to visit the Pleasanton office. Everyone comments
<br />Pleasanton is a great place to work.
<br />
<br /> Donna Nasser, S.C.J. Insurance Services, said her company specializes in non-standard
<br />auto insurance for those with less than perfect driving records. She said many of the companies
