The Teens' Workshop allowed the teens a place to write their
dreams, their pains, and gave them the confidence to do readings to family, friends, and
the community at large. The workshops at the Senior Center brought all ages together to
write, read, and crifque each others work. The Century House reading series brought
poets from as far away as Sonoma, Modesto, and Sacramento to read to large audiences
as well as offering a voice to local poets.
