She felt this development will be
something the community can be proud of.

Ms. Dennis thanked everyone on the Planning Commission and staff that have worked so
hard on this project. She felt every aspect was considered, the architecture is attractive and this
is the best project possible. In some respects, she felt this will actually improve the visual
asl~Cts of the Vineyard Corridor.

Ms. Ayala pointed out that infrastructure on these parcels is extremely expensive and
without all the various developers and the School District cooperating, the plan would not have
worked. She felt it was in the City's best interests to cooperate, even though Council was
compromising on what it really wanted for the ridgeline area. This plan ties Ruby Hill to
Pleasanton beautifully.

Itegl 6d
A~]optioa of th~ Youth Master Plan of Pleasanton. (SR 01:124)

James W. Wolfe presented the staff report.

Ms. Dennis noted that even though the Parks and Community Sendces Depath~lent has
the prinmry role of implementing and monitoring the master plan, the plan spreads far into the
community and she wanted make cer~dn that it remains a living document. She wanted to
continue the inter-depat h~lental cooperation and asked how the status reports on implementation
would come back to Council.

Pl~asanton City Council 17 06/05/01
Minutes
