CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Campbell, seconded by Councllmember <br />Michelotti, that the following actions be taken: <br /> <br />Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission. (IR 01:017) <br />No action was required or taken on this Rem. <br /> <br />b. Proclaim May 2001 as Older Americans Month. <br /> <br /> Pam Deaton, Supervisor of the Senior Program and Paratransit Services, related all the <br />activities at the Senior Center and the partnerships with Amador Adult Education, Spectrum <br />Community Services (meals) and Valley Community Health Center. She also described the <br />Seventh Annual Art Made Easy show at the Senior Center. This is a show of artists from eight <br />years and beyond and will be on display until Saturday. <br /> <br /> Lord Pollon described the "Step Out for Senior Centers" event on Saturday, May 19. <br />This event focuses on active, healthy living for seniors and includes an open house at the Senior <br />Center with various exhibition booths and guest speakers. <br /> <br /> John Smyth indicated he has been involved with the Senior Center for five years as a <br />volunteer and participant in the programs. He said there are many, many programs to suit <br />everyone. The population is aging and there will be more seniors and a greater need for the <br />Senior Center. He urged Council to continue to support these programs. <br /> <br />c. Commend Mark Withrow for being named Pleasanton's Community Hero for 2001. <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution No. 01-045, Directing the Filing of an Annual Report for Landscape <br />Assessment District No. 1984-1, Ponderosa (Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting <br />Act of 1972); adopt Resolution No., 01-046, a Resolution of Intention to Order <br />Improvements, Landscape Assessment District No. 1984-1, Ponderosa (Pursuant to the <br />Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972); adopt Resolution No. 01-047, Directing the <br />Filing of an Annual Report for Lighting and Landscape Assessment District No. 1993-1, <br />Windsor (Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972); adopt Resolution No. <br />01-048, a Resolution of Intention to Order Improvements, Lighting and Landscape <br />Assessment District No. 1993-1, Windsor (Pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting <br />Act of 1972); adopt Resolution No. 01-049, Directing the Filing of an Annual Report for <br />Lighting and Landscape Assessment District No. 1993-2, Bonde Ranch (Pursuant to the <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 3 05/15/01 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
