REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico at 7:00 <br /> <br /> Brownie Troop #495 led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance <br /> <br /> Councilmember Campbell complimented Jamba Juice for its community involvement <br />and the use of a community bulletin board in its shop. <br /> <br />2. ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: Councilmambers <br />present were: Kay Ayala, Matt Campbell, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, and Mayor Tom <br />Pico. Staff members present were Deborah Acosta McKeehan, City Manager; Nelson Fialho, <br />Deputy City Manager; Steven Bocian, Deputy City Manager; Michael Roush, City Attorney, <br />Randall Lum, Director of Public Works; Brian Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; .and Eric Carlson, Fire Marshal. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Item 4e, recommendation to rename the eastern portion of Del Valle Parkway to Nevada <br />Street, was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br /> Item 6c, PUD-05, Centex Homes, and Item 6d, SP-01/PUD-06, Centex Homes, were <br />continued to the meeting on June 5, 2001. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis indicated she had just received a request from the Alameda County Resource <br />Conservation District to send a letter to the City's Congressional representatives requesting <br />additional funding for staff to look at the agricultural issues currently being considered. A list <br />was set forth in the letter she received. Action needs to be taken before the next Council meeting <br />in order to provide input in the federal budget process. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Dennis, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to adopt Resolution No. <br />01-044, adding an item to the agenda to discuss whether to send a letter regarding funding <br />for the National Resources Conservation Service and the Alameda County Resource <br />Conservation District. <br /> <br />Pleasanton City Council 2 05/15/01 <br />Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
