MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />April 17, 2001 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order by Mayor Tom Pico <br />at 7:08 p.m. <br /> <br /> The Pot of Gold Singers led the assembly in the National Anthem. Ms. Michelotti <br />led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. She thanked the chores members for their <br />presence and the wonderful asset they are to the community. She also extended <br />congratulations to the new commissioners and thanked the retiring commissioners for <br />their efforts in their respective positions. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk Marsha Schmiegel called the roll, which is recorded as <br />follows: Councilmembers present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti <br />and Mayor Tom Pico. Staff members present were Deborah Acosta McKeehan, City <br />Manager, Nelson Fialho, Deputy City Manager, Lax/ssa Seto, Assistant City Attorney, <br />Brian Swift, Director of Planning & Community Development, Bill Van Gelder, Deputy <br />Director of Public Works/Transportation, Captain Dave Radford, Police Depathnent. <br />Councilmember Matt Campbell was absent and excused. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Ayala, seconded by Couneilmember <br />Michelotti, that the following actions be taken: <br /> <br />a.
