It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis to adopt Resolution <br />No. 01-014, approving the Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project and <br />adopting the Mitigation and Monitoring Plan for the project. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers- Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt <br />Resolution No. 01-015, approving the Purchase and Settlement Agreement for the <br />acquisition of 3421 Vineyard Avenue; and authorizing the City Manager to execute <br />all required documents. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, Michelotti, and Mayor Pico <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN None <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis encouraged staff to review the trail in conjunction with the design of <br />the bridge. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell asked why the City is paying the owner for the property and also <br />paying relocation expense. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush explained that state law requires cities to not only compensate the <br />owner the fair market value of property, but also if the owner has a business that has to be <br />relocated, that the owner be compensated for relocation and loss of good will. He also <br />explained the negotiation process and appraisals. <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />Consideration of Environmental Monitoring Commission/Committee. (SR 01:038) <br /> <br />Item 6d <br />Consideration of Energy Strategy/Policy Study. (SR 01:037) <br /> <br /> Brian Swift presented the staffreports for both these items. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala pointed out that it took San Francisco about four years to draft its <br />sustainability plan with objectives for thc year 2002.
