3. AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> <br />Ms. Acosta reminded Council of the additions to the agenda. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver indicated he received information that Supervisor Scott Haggetty <br />requested direction from cities regarding whether to put the Vision 2010 Initiative on the <br />ballot. <br /> <br />Them was no consensus to add this to the agenda. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver requested item 4b to be moved for discussion under public hearings <br />and other matters. <br /> <br /> l'hcrc was discussion about reorganizing the order of the public hearing items as <br />follows: 6a, 6& 6f, 4b and 6c. <br /> <br />4. CONSENTCALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Michelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, that the following <br />actions be taken: <br /> <br />a. Approve City Council Minutes for 6/20/00. <br /> <br />Approval of proposed revisions to the City Preference System for Affordable <br />Housing Projects, (SR00:203) <br />This item was discussed later in the agenda. <br /> <br />Approve plans and specifications for renovation and addition to 200 Old Bemal <br />Avenue (Civic Center), and remodel of 157 Main Street, Project No. 998045; <br />review bids and allow the apparem low bidder (Pacific Coast Reconstruction and <br />Building, Inc.) to withdraw its bid due to a clerical error; award the contract for <br />the subject project to Ramlor Construction, Inc. for a low bid of $1,953,668; <br />approve contracts with the following contractors for work related to this project <br />(BSK Associates, One Workplace L. ferrari, and Harvey' s Moving,; authorize the <br />City Manager to enter into the above contracts: authorize the Director of Public <br />Works to approve and execute contract change orders for a contingency amount <br />not to exceed $195,367 for necessary related prqject work; and authorize <br />appropriation from the Addition to City Council Chambers Fund, CIP #968037, in <br />the amount of $60,220 and from the Reserve for City Hall/Community Center <br />fund, CIP ~958053. in the amount of $682,419.
