Mr. Swift explained the difference in legislation between Zone 7 and ElIMUD. The area closest to Trany but in Alameda County, does have the potential. Mayor Taxvet asked if Zone 7 would be obligated to provide water to North Livermore if asked by the County. Mr. Swift explained mat area is in Zone 7' s service axea whereas, EBMUD is asked to annex area that is not currently in its service boundaries. It was moved by Ms. Scribner, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Resolution No. 93-87, be adopted, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Ple~nton requasting the Board of Directors of Zone 7 of the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Congrvation Dislrict titcharier Zone 7) to allocate existing contracted supplies based on the needs established by the approved general plans of the cities within the Livermore-Amador Valley.
