She suggested having CMA give a presentation to the City as well as <br />the City making a presentation to CMA pointing out precisely how it can help the City. <br /> <br />Ms. Mohr believed that CMA should include areas that greatly effect the tri-valley area. <br /> <br /> Mr. van Gelder stated that he hoped to do so and will ha inviting San Joaquin County <br />in the discussions. Perhaps a MTC member would be representing San loaquin. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr asked that all of the Councilmembers axe notified if CMA presents the work <br />program to the T~-Valley Transportation Council. <br /> <br />Mayor Tarver agreed with staff recommendations and encouraged joint studies. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pieo stated that it was clear that the Tri-Valley Transportation Council and Alameda <br />County and City of Dublin do not see the purpose of the TVTC as doing any land use planning <br />whatsoever. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Scfibnes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, directing staff to: 1) request <br />the CMA to present the work program to the T~-Valley Transportation Council as a review of <br />how such a program would help in the adoption and implementation of a Td-Valiey <br />Transportation Plan; 2) ensure the incorporation of Calltans and public transportation providers <br />in any transportation related partnership as Cahnns facilities represent over 80% of the CMA <br />regional trips; 3) request the CMA to adopt policies facilitating communications between sub- <br />area and local governments; and 4) anenurage the CMA, ABAG, and MTC to give priority to <br /> <br />07/06/93 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
