Mr. Cusenza indicated that over the last five or ten years many cities and districts <br />have instituted some kind of replacement fund. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver declared the public heating open. <br /> <br /> There being no speakers, the pnblic hearing was closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Miehelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt <br />Resolution No. 00-092, amending the Master Fee Schedule, to adopt the new water <br />rates for calendar years 2000 and 2001. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dcnnis~ Michelotti, Pica, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver commended staff for its thorough pmseutation explaining the <br />reasons why sewer and water rate increases were necessary. <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />PAP-07 (PUD-98-07), Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Cornoration. <br />Anneal of the Planninll Commission's denial of an annlication for a Planned Unit <br />Develonment annroyal for a master Olan and design guidelines that would allow for <br />the development of uu to 1.1 million sol. ft. of office/research and development <br />buildinl~s to be located on an anDroximatelv 80-acre Oareel at 61777 Sunol <br />Boulevard (SR 00:169) <br /> <br />Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Ms. Dennis asked for clarification of the park contribution. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift said that at the last meeting requests were made lbr park contributions <br />and the question was whether the park would be on site or somewhere else. The City <br />does not usually require a park contribution as a condition of approval for a commercial <br />project.
