Mr. Cusenza indicated that over the last five or ten years many cities and districts have instituted some kind of replacement fund. Mayor Tarver declared the public heating open. There being no speakers, the pnblic hearing was closed. It was moved by Ms. Miehelotti, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 00-092, amending the Master Fee Schedule, to adopt the new water rates for calendar years 2000 and 2001. Mr. Swift said that at the last meeting requests were made lbr park contributions and the question was whether the park would be on site or somewhere else. The City does not usually require a park contribution as a condition of approval for a commercial project. However, Kaiser has volunteered to contribute $400~000 for a park in the vicinity.
