(IR00:031) <br />No action was required or taken on this item. <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution No. 00-089. authorizing participation in the "Spare the Air City <br />and County" Campaign. <br /> <br />Accept public improvements for Stoneridge Drive widening, Project No. 995017; <br />authorize the City Clark to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project; <br />authorize final payment to GradeTech, Inc. in the amotmt of $1,563.98; and <br />authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $28,352.46 to GradeTech, <br />Inc. thirty days after filing the Notice of Completion.. (SR 00:182) <br /> <br />Adopt Ordinance No. 1806, amending Sections of Chapters 20.08 and 20.24 of <br />the Pleasanton Municipal Code related to the Uniform Building Code and the <br />Uniform Fire Code fire sprinkler requirements and the fire alarm monitoring <br />provisions. <br /> <br />Adopt Resolution No. 00-090, postponing the special election for the Happy <br />Valley anncxation from July 22, 2000 to December 5, 2000. (SR 00:197) <br /> <br /> Keith Wardin, 2931 Liberty Drive, referred to the fact that the City had suspended <br />further action on the golf course unless one of the proposed developers ofl~red to fund <br />the remainder of the costs to obtain the necessary environmental permits. He believed <br />such an offer had been made and inquired about the status. <br /> <br /> bar. Lum stated there have been continuing discussions with Black Mountain <br />Development. which is willing to fund some limited consultant involvement. There is no <br />specific proposal for longer term funding that would allow the City to proceed with the <br />permit process. The City staff has been meeting with the permitting agencies and there is <br />some encouraging news. Because there are still un-going discussioas and actions <br />necessary, staff~commends postponing the annexation election. <br /> <br />Appoints Councilmember Becky Dennis as the voting delegate for the League of <br />California Cities' Annual Conference and Conncilmember Kay Ayala as the <br />alternate voting delegate for the conference. (SR00:189) <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala.
