MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE <br /> BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE <br /> <br /> GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICTS FOR <br />OAK TREE FARMS, MOLLER RANCH AND LAUREL CREEK (THE PRESERVE) <br /> <br /> JULY 11, 2000 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Chairperson Tarvet called the meeting of the Geologic Hazard Abatement District Board <br />of Directors to order at 6:55 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> The roll call is recorded as follows: Directors Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, and <br />Chairperson Tarver were present. Deborah Acosta, Executive Director, and Michael Roush, <br />Legal Counsel. were present. <br /> <br />Director Pico was absent and excused. <br /> <br />LEVY OF ANNUAL ASSESSMENT (SR 00: 184) <br /> <br />Randall Lum presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Stan Bulger, 6240 Detjen Court, representing the Board of Directors of the Laurel Creek <br />Homeowners Association, pointed out that Presley Homes, the developer of the Laurel Creek <br />project, is preparing to leave the project. Before the developer is released from its bonds, he <br />asked Council to have staff review all the Geologic Hazard Abatement issues to insure that it <br />has fulfilled all its obligations. He also requested that the homeowners in Laurel Creek be give <br />the opportunity for input on any other geologic hazard abatement districts adjacent to theirs or <br />the inclusion of other tracts into the Laurel Creek CHAD. He did not have any questions on <br />the annual assessment. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lure indicated that staff had already planned to get input from these residents befnre <br />proceeding with any additions to the geologic hazard abalement district as well as discussing any <br />outstanding issues betbre accepting the public improvements of the tracts from Presley Homes. <br /> <br /> Mr. Bulger indicated he would be requesting changing the pedestrian/equestrian trail in <br />the development to park acreage. He limit the trail affected the CHAD and did morn potential <br />damage to the area's trees and park areas. <br /> <br /> Andy Russo, 441 Mares Court (Oak Tree Farms), did not understand why the Oak Tree <br />Farms area was included in a Geologic Hazard Abatement District because the tract is built on <br /> <br /> <br />
