Tulancingo by a 20-person delegation and the recovery eflbrts in Tulancingo after the <br />recent disastrous flooding. Tulancingo expressed its ~'appreciation for the moral support <br />and the generous economic help due to the devastating floods this past October. This <br />help during our time of need renews our xcaith in life, rekindles our spirit, and give us <br />hope for a better tomorrow. [t is something that will remain engraved in our hearts for <br />life <br /> <br /> Bob Maas, 7942 Racoon Hollow Court, President of the Ballistic United Soccer <br />Club and Pleasanton Youth Soccer League, indicated this is the first year Plcasanton has <br />two tean~s in the tournament from the State Championship. He armounced the <br />forthcoming 2000 United States Youth Soccer Association Far West Regional <br />Championship in Pleasanton from June 19 to June 24. He thanked the City for the <br />support received from the Parks & Commtmity Services Department in making this <br />tournament possible. He introduced Randy James, Ballistic United Soccer Club Director <br />of Coaching, who presented the team of Ballistic United Soccer Club Boys Under-13 as <br />follows: Alex Amador; Andrew Amador; Joel Crompton; Dylan Curtiss; Jeremy Dum~; <br />Andrew Gangnuss: Jan'cUr Huk; Bryan Johnson; Claifln Kalms; Matt Mitchell; Daniel <br />Poe: Adam Sehlouster; Kyle Schlumpf; Timothy Shurtleff; Adam Schuller; Kevin <br />Spiller; Marcus Sylva; along with head coach Mike Milton; assistant coach Cal Kaplan; <br />club trainer Randy James; and trainer Dan Reyes. Ms, Michelouri read the conm:endation <br />for the team and presented a copy to each member. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala then read the conm~endation for the Ballisfic United Soccer Club Boys <br />Under-16 State Championship Team: Randy James, Ballistic United Soccer Club <br />Director of Coaching, and head coach Ken Villegas introduced the members as lbllows: <br />Jason Adams; Dan Bargman; Jonathan Bernal; Mike Cusenza; Rob Flores; Shaun Hart; <br />Grant Jordan: Uche Kanu; Keon Khamsephour: Sergio Marsvilla; Jarod Norell; Bryan <br />Petro; Zach Popick: Jose Revelo; and Mitch Wagner; along with trainer Jerry Losson and <br />assistant coaches Tim Petro and Rob Flores. <br /> <br />Other Sioeakers <br /> <br /> Craig Scharton, 830 Main Street, Executive Director of the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Association, presented the new signs that have been approved by CaiTrans for <br />installation on 1-680 and 1-580 directing people to downtown Pleasanton. lie thanked <br />State Senator Richard Rainey's office and Assemblywoman Lyrme Leach's office for <br />their helpfulness and cooperation with this project. He also rentinded everyone of <br />various downtown events soon to occur. <br /> <br /> JcffReuholts, 7489 Aster Court. referred to recent comments about the red-legged <br />frog on Moller Ranch and in the Happy Valley area. He referred to newspaper articles <br />talking about the frog, which has never been seen in these locations. He did not <br />understand why so much time and money were spent on mitigations for something that <br />was never there.
