Lure presented the staff report. <br /> <br /> Ken Sanchez, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, 2800 Cottage Way #W2605, Sacramento, <br />indicated the golf come is still going through the compliance process and he was <br />available to answer questions from Council. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti asked how long it will take for U.S. Fish and Wildlife to respond <br />to the documents that have been submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sanchez indicated the City has proposed off-site mitigations and the <br />department is reviewing them. If sufficient measures have been proposed, then it could <br />take about 135 days to prepare a biological opinion. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver asked if the proposed mitigation measures were found to be <br />insufficient, would Fish and Wildlife specify point by point what the insufficiencies were. <br /> <br /> Mr. Sanchez indicated the agency' s role was to provide guidance and help <br />proponents identify sufficient measures to offset the iarpacts that would occur to <br />endax~gcred species. <br /> <br />Michalotti asked for a brief report on what staff has done recently. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lum said staff had recently completed extensive rcvisior~ to the submittal to <br />the various agencies and is awaiting responses as to the sufficiency of the documents.
