She believed the <br />answer will occur when there is consensus to have a wider street with a sidewalk in front <br />of the fence. Then there could be parking on the north side of the street. At this point, <br />she did not support parking. Since it will be a tie vote, she asked that people continue to <br />work on this. <br /> <br /> Ms. Ayala referred to the phrase about the convenience of the neighbors. She has <br />driven in the area and there are many streets where people could park. He informed Council about <br />provisions that had been made fbr pedestrians. <br /> <br /> Ms. Michelotti believed the best thing about the traffic signal was that it provided <br />a safer lef~ turn for those going to Foothill Road from the fleeway. She limit if staB' could <br />~vork out the timing with the CalTrans signal, the problems would be solved. She <br />believed traffic flows really well xnost of the time. <br /> <br /> Mr. van Gclder believed staff can continue to make improvements in the timing of <br />the sisals. <br /> <br /> Mayor Tarver expressed his appreciation for the work done. It is frustrating when <br />traffic signals are installed and they do not work correctly. <br /> <br /> Ms. Dennis indical~d she had received more compliments on the intersection, <br />particularly from people getting off the fleeway. She has received no complaints.
