MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br /> Valefie Raymond, 2368 Buena Vista, Livermore, indicated she was a member of <br />the leadership group for the Tri-Valley Vision 2010. She requested Council to place an <br />item on a future agenda for a presentation by the Agriculture Subcommittee of Vision <br />2010. The Vision project started in October 1998 with partial fimding by the City of <br />Pleasanton. In 1999, the committee produced the "Golden Valley Vision" and an Action <br />Plan which included a proposed ballot measure to deal with the protection of open space <br />and agriculture. They would like an opportunity to present the goals of the Vision and to <br />explain the ballot measure. <br /> <br /> Jocelyn Combs, 5151 Greentree Court, also asked for an agenda item regarding <br />Vision 2010. She indicated the Vision has been funded by the cities and the county in the <br />Tri-Valley area and is organized by the Tri-Valley Business Council. She explained this <br />is a committee involving more than 100 individuals which has asked questions like <br />"where do we want to be in 30 years?" "what is it going to look like?" and "how do we <br />get there?"
