MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF THE <br />PLEASANTON CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />March 21, 2000 <br /> <br />6:00 P.M. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> A closed session was held to confer with Real Property Negotiator Deborah <br />Acosta regarding potential purchase of the San Francisco Bernal Avenue property: and <br />potential purchase of property for the proposed South Pleasanton golf course. <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Tarver at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. He announced that the <br />Executive Director of the Regional Water Quality Control Board had granted <br />authorization for the Dublin San Ramon Services District to proceed with injection of <br />reverse osmosis treated wastewater into the groundwater basin. He expressed his <br />extreme disappointment with the decision, which ignored the strong message sent from <br />the Pleasanton voters. He then commended Don Anger for his outstanding support tier <br />youth programs and announced the tennis courts at Amador Valley High School will be <br />named in his honor. <br /> <br />Mayor Tarver added his congratulations. <br /> <br />2. ROLLCALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy Ezidro called the roll, which is as follows: Councilmembers <br />present were Kay Ayala, Becky Dennis, Sharrell Michelotti, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and <br />Mayor Ben Tarver. Staff members present were Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Michael <br />Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; Randall A.
