The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 6f PAP-05 {SPA-99-01/PUD-99-16}, Paul Fa~liano Anneal of the Planning Commission's decision to deny an annlication to amend the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Snecific Plan and Planned Unit Develonment zoning nronosal to allow for a transfer of one future home site from Lot 22 to Lot 31 and the addition of one lot home site on Lot 30. Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open and continued the matter to the next meeting on March 21~ 2000. 7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, to congratulate Ms. Acosta on ten years of service to the City of Pleasanton as City Manager. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Ayala, Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Ms. Michelotti requested discussion of moving City Council meetings when they fall on an election day to the Monday before. Mr. Pico and other Councilmembers suggested having this discussion at the goals workshops. Ms. Dennis had a question on the letter regarding the local task force and when that would be agendized and also requested a notice to the Recycling Board. She asked that Council be provided with minutes of the meetings where it was discussed by the Waste Management Authority and Recycling Board. No one asks her about garbage and related issues and in order to vote on this, it will be necessary to hear what the issues are from those discussing the pros and cons. Karen Smith from the Authority could provide background on the history of the local task force. Mayor Tarver indicated that any Councilmember appointed to a regional board can put an item on the City Council agenda to provide an update report. Pleasanton City Council 23 Minutes 03/07/00
