basis. He urged Council not to protest the LAFCO action. He pledged his cooperation and <br />requested Council to call any time to work on mutual issues. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver expressed appreciation for discussions with Mr. Houston and the opening of <br />communication. He indicated consensus cannot be reached without communication and <br />appreciated the presence of the Dublin Councilmembers at this meeting. The other members of <br />Council agreed with Mr. Tarver. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Tarver, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that Council not take any <br />action to request LAFCO to reconsider its decision on the East Dublin Reorganization. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush inquired whether Council wanted staff to file written comments regarding the <br />reorganization at the public hearing before the Dublin City Council on December 12, 1994. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver indicated Pleasanton has already communicated its basic concerns and did not <br />see any value in reiterating those issues. He agreed with establishing subcommittees of the <br />respective Councils and establishing a dialogue to resolve outstanding issues. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico suggested Mayor Tarver visit the Dublin City Council meeting and <br />communicate some of Pleasanton's concerns. <br /> <br />Item 10b <br />Discussion concernina purchase of School District Surplus property (7.57 acre Del PHido <br />site) located between Black Avenue and Hansen Drive (adjacent to Hansen Park) <br />(SR 94:408) <br /> <br />Brian Swift presented the staff report <br /> <br /> Mr. Pico asked if there were a way to hold the property without the School District's <br />being subject to a financial drain. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush suggested the School District could transfer title of the property to the City <br />for a period of time and that would remove the obligation to pay the non-use fee. At such time <br />as the School District required the property, the title would be transferred back.
