Mr. Tarver expressed appreciation for discussions with Mr. Houston and the opening of communication. He indicated consensus cannot be reached without communication and appreciated the presence of the Dublin Councilmembers at this meeting. The other members of Council agreed with Mr. Tarver. It was moved by Mr. Tarver, seconded by Ms. Michelotti, that Council not take any action to request LAFCO to reconsider its decision on the East Dublin Reorganization. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Michelotti, Pico, and Mayor Tarver NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr ABSTAIN: None Mr. Roush inquired whether Council wanted staff to file written comments regarding the reorganization at the public hearing before the Dublin City Council on December 12, 1994. Mr. Tarver indicated Pleasanton has already communicated its basic concerns and did not see any value in reiterating those issues. He agreed with establishing subcommittees of the respective Councils and establishing a dialogue to resolve outstanding issues. Item 10b Discussion concernina purchase of School District Surplus property (7.57 acre Del PHido site) located between Black Avenue and Hansen Drive (adjacent to Hansen Park) (SR 94:408) Brian Swift presented the staff report Mr. Pico asked if there were a way to hold the property without the School District's being subject to a financial drain. Mr. Roush suggested the School District could transfer title of the property to the City for a period of time and that would remove the obligation to pay the non-use fee. At such time as the School District required the property, the title would be transferred back. There would be a negotiated agreement to reflect the terms. 12/06/94 - 8 -
