MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE <br /> MEETING <br /> OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 6, 1994 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Ben Tarver called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 7:15 p.m. <br />and led the assembly in the pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll, which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers present were Rebecca L. Dennis, Thomas P. Pico, Jr. and Ben Tarver. Staff <br />members present were: Deborah Acosta, City Manager; Steven Bocian, Assistant City Manager; <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney; Brian W. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development; and Randall A. Lure, Director of PUblic Works. <br /> <br />Councilmembers Mohr and Scribner were absent and excused. <br /> <br />Item la <br />Adontion of Resolution Declaring Results of 11/8/94 Municinal Election (SR 94:398) <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by MS. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 94-140, <br />declaring the results of the 11/8/94 municipal election. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Pico, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Mohr and Scribner <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta read a FAX received from Councilmember Scribner. She regretted missing <br />the reception and installation for the newly elected officials. She was pleased to report the birth <br />of her new granddaughter, Megan. She thanked the people of Pleasanton for giving her the <br />privilege of serving them and appreciated all their Support, especially regarding the downtown <br />project.
