It was moved by Mr. Pico, seconded by Ms. Dennis, to adopt Resolution No. 94-129, <br />approving expenditure of $2.9 million in fiscal year 1994-95 from the Lower Income Housing <br />Fund for the Case Avenue Project. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Dennis, Mohr, Pico, Scribner, and Mayor Tarver <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Item 7a <br />PUD-85-8-12M. City of Pleasanton <br />Application to allow public harks as a pennitted use within the Hacienda Business Park. <br />Zoning for the Dronefly is PUD (Planned Unit Develonment) - Industrial/Commercial/Office <br />DiStrict. (SR 94:343) <br /> <br />Brian Swift presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Mayor Tarver declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Frank Brandes, 6889 Corte Sonada, requested clarification of whether the City had funds <br />to purchase the property and fund improvements. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver indicated this item will be on the agenda after the election to discuss the best <br />way to fund the park and mitigate the impact on the businesses. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated staff is working on the financing plan and will come back to <br />Council in December. <br /> <br /> Gary Schwaegerle, 189 W. Angela, inquired about park requirements ibr the apartment <br />projects that are coming in. Will there be an assessment for the entire City to pay for parks for <br />new development? <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta indicated the apartments are not being discussed. The discussions are <br />regarding how to meet the recreational needs of some of the properties that have already been <br />developed in north Pleasanton, especially the commercial and industrial properties. Staff is <br />working with the property owners to bring baelra proposal. There will be no bonds or <br />additional assessments. <br /> <br />11/01/94 <br /> - 7 - <br /> <br /> <br />
