On the Basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of this <br />project, the Director of Planning and Conmunity Development has determined that <br />the proposed project would not have any potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared. <br />This Initial Study is available for review at the Planning Division, 200 Bernal <br />Avenue, Pleasanton. Comments on this decision may be directed either to the <br />Planning staff prior to the above meeting, or directly to the City Council at <br />the above noticed meeting <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 80:338) dated November 18, 1980, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roger Manning, 1078 Vintner Way, owner of the property, stated he con- <br />curred with the staff report and Planning Commission recommendation for approval <br />of this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the application or Negative <br />Declaration. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />that Resolution No. 80-299, determining on the basis of a review of initial en- <br />vironmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact <br />would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Negative Declaration <br />is appropriate to fezone the approximately 9+ acre parcel located on Foothill Road <br />wouth of Foothill High School at Muirwood Drive South from "A" (Agricultural) Dis- <br />trict to the R-1-20,O00 (Single-Family Residential) District, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that <br />Ordinance No. 951, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of Foothill Associates to fezone the approximately 9% <br />acre parcel located on Foothill Road south of Foothill High School at Muirwood <br />Drive South from "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-i-20,000 (Single-Family <br />Residential) District and amending the Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton <br />accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler., Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Application of Valley Community Church to fezone the approximately 2.3 acre site <br />located on the north and west of their proposed church site at the northeast end <br />of Del Valle Parkway approximately 200 feet east of Harvest Road from "Public and <br />Institutional" to "Planned Unit Development-Medium Density Residential" District. <br />The City Council may recommend approval of this application as requested or may <br />recommend any other zoning district consistent with the General Plan <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 80:337) dated Novamber 18, 1980, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br />5. 11/25/80 <br /> <br />968 <br /> <br /> <br />
