MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> June 30, 1969 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG <br /> Mayor Bernard Gerton called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br /> to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk Pro Tem William H. Edgar called the roll which is recorded as <br /> follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were <br /> present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, were present. Mr. <br /> Campbell, Director of Public Works, Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, and Mrs. <br /> McCarty, City Clerk, were absent. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> Councilman Spiliotopoulos requested that Item 4c relating to the approval of <br /> the Final Map for Tract 2855 be removed from the Consent Calendar in view of the <br /> information that was transmitted with the agenda. He felt that a determination <br /> as to whether net or gross acreage should be applied to subdivision as it related <br /> to the Park Dedication Ordinance should be made by the City Council. Mr. Hirst <br /> suggested that this question did not really relate to the approval of the final <br /> map but that if the developer had any guestions he could pay the development fees <br /> under protest pending a legal decision regarding the question of net or gross <br /> acreage. <br /> After some discussion it was moved by Councilman Reid and seconded by Council- <br /> man Spiliotopoulos that Resolution No. 69-151, approving the Final Subdivision Map; <br /> Improvement Plans, Tract No. 2855, Willow West Estates, with the understanding that <br /> the matters related to application of the Park Dedication Ordinance be reviewed <br /> later, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Councilman Rega requested that Item 4k relating to an amendment to the Zoning <br /> Ordinance regarding front yard setbacks be removed from the Consent Calendar. <br /> Councilman Rega felt that a language change in the proposed revision should be <br /> made at this time. Mr. Hirst stated that it was not necessary to discuss changes <br /> in the proposed amendment at this time and that this could be discussed at the <br /> public hearing. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that <br /> the public hearing on this matter be scheduled for August 4, 1969. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Rega that <br /> the following items on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />1. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-149, accepting grant deed from Amador Valley <br /> Investors (Fairlands); Right-of-Way for Tassajara Road. <br /> <br />2. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-150, approving Final Map, Improvement Plans, <br /> Parcel Map 400, Stoneridge. <br /> <br />3. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-152, accepting Public Improvements on Valley <br /> Avenue adjacent to the Western Sierra Lumber Company. <br /> <br />4. Scheduling a public hearing at 8:00 P.M., on July 28, 1969~ on the application <br /> of Spivak-Bollinger to fezone from an A (Agricultural) District to a C-F (Com~ <br /> mercial Freeway) District that property described as Parcel 15 of the Assessor's <br /> Map Book 946, Block 1100, containing 1.37 acres, more or less, and bounded by <br /> Santa Rita Read and TassaJara Road. <br /> <br /> <br />
