Hr. Campbell recommended that this report be submitted <br /> to the Valley Sand and Gravel Committee for their study prior to any action taken <br /> by the City Council. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Betailia that the <br />Study and Report on Truck Routes which was prepared by the Director of Public <br />Y~orks, dated Hay 15, 1969, be submitted to the Valley Sand and Gravel Committee <br />for their study and recommendations. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Bernills, Rega, and Vice-Mayor Spfliotopoulos <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Reid and Hayor Certon <br /> <br /> Initiation of Joint Data PrgceSs.in~ P~g~ram <br /> Mr. Fales reviewed the report he and the City Manager of Livermore prepared <br />on the joint Data Processing Program, in ~ich they recommended that: <br /> <br />1. The proposed first-year budget for the joint data processing progrexn as <br /> delineated in the report, dated April 4, 1969, be approved. <br />2.The cost apportionment for the first year of joint operation as outlined <br /> in the report, dated May 21, 1969, be approved, <br />3.The execution of the Joint Exercise of Powers Act agreement creating the <br /> joint program, be authorized. <br />4. The retention of a Data Processing Manager be authorized in accordance with <br /> the proposed budget, effective July 1, 1969, be authorized. <br /> <br /> After some discussion of this program, it was decided to continue this matter <br />until a full Council was in attendance. <br /> <br />Review of Bids~ Award of Contrac~.~ Re:.Sunol Blvd. Paving _P._roJect <br /> Mr. Fales reported that bids had been opened this date for the constructj. on <br />of the Sunol Boulevard Street Improvements and the low bid was from A.
