479 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California May 26, 1969 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos were present. Councilman Reid and Mayor Getton were absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, was absent. AGENDAAMENDMENTS There were no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: 1. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-118, approving the Final Subdivision Map and Improvement Plans for Tract No. 3083, Valley Trails, Unit No. 3. 2. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-119, authorizing the release and the payment of the 10% retention payment to the West Valley Construction Company for the completion of the Castlewood Drive Water Main Project and Miscellaneous Water ~_I Main Projects. 3. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 558, amending Ordinance No. 447, National. Electrical Code, 1965, providing a grounding system for residential occupan- cies. 4. Introduction of Ordinance No. 558. 5. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-120, approving the Standard Agreement with H.U.D. regarding the City Water Project WS-6-05-0269. 6. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-121, setting the public hearing for July 14, 1969, at 8:00 P.M., on Annexation No. 59, Meadowlark Dairy Property. It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos that the reading of Ordinance No. 557 be waived.
