479 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> May 26, 1969 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG <br /> Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br /> Councilmen Beratlis, Rega and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos were present. Councilman <br /> Reid and Mayor Getton were absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant <br /> City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, <br /> were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, was absent. <br /> <br /> AGENDAAMENDMENTS <br /> There were no amendments to the agenda. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the <br /> following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> 1. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-118, approving the Final Subdivision Map and <br /> Improvement Plans for Tract No. 3083, Valley Trails, Unit No. 3. <br /> <br /> 2. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-119, authorizing the release and the payment of <br /> the 10% retention payment to the West Valley Construction Company for the <br /> completion of the Castlewood Drive Water Main Project and Miscellaneous Water <br />~_I Main Projects. <br /> <br /> 3. Waiving the reading of Ordinance No. 558, amending Ordinance No. 447, National. <br /> Electrical Code, 1965, providing a grounding system for residential occupan- <br /> cies. <br /> <br /> 4. Introduction of Ordinance No. 558. <br /> <br /> 5. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-120, approving the Standard Agreement with H.U.D. <br /> regarding the City Water Project WS-6-05-0269. <br /> <br /> 6. No. ~20, rezonin8 from the RM-15, ~M~2~ <br /> Districts and R-1Distri~tz t~_the RM-15, RM-20 and R-I Districts that proDert~ <br /> located on the west side of Santa Rita Road across from Mohr Avenqe~ and contain- <br /> ~ng aDDroximatel~ 41 acres and the Adoption of Ordinance No. 557 <br /> Mr. Fales stated that this ordinance had been introduced by a split vote by <br /> the Council on May 19, 1969, and therefore, was not included as a routine matter <br /> on the Consent Calendar in order to allow further discussion by the Councilmen. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Beratlis and seconded by Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos <br /> that the reading of Ordinance No. 557 be waived. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilman Beratlis and Vice-Mayor Spiliotopoulos <br /> NOES: Councilman Rega <br /> ABSENT: Councilman Reid and Mayor Getton <br /> <br /> <br />
