MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California March 17, 1969 CALL TO ORDER - .[L~pGE TO FLAG Mayor Bernard Getton called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then ledg the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL.CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Betaills, Rega, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton were present. Council- man Reid was absent. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, were present. AGENII~ AMENDMENTS There were no amendmeuts to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Rega that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: 1. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-53, accepting the Public Improvements from D&V Builders, Inc., at the relocation of Black Avenue and Hopyard Road. 2. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-54, accepting the Corporation Grant Deed from Hatper and Row Publishers, Inc., for the Sunol Blvd. widening. 3. Scheduling a Public Hearing on the application of the Planning Commission for an amendment to Ordinance No. 520, Section 22.104, Title Section, and 22.104a by adding the words, "or sign" in the Title Section after the word "structure"; and the words, "or in the case of signs with any of the requirements of Article 17 hereof" after the words, "in which the structure is located" in Section 22.104a, for 8:00 P.M., on March 31, 1969. It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Rega that the public hearing on the appeal of the Shell Oil Company be continued at 8:00 P.M. on April 14, 1969.
