247, <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> Febrpary. 17, 1969 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG <br /> Mayor Bernard Getton called the Adjourned Regular Meeting to order at 8:00 P.M. <br />and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present. <br />Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst,City <br />Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Aiello, Assistant <br />City Planner, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, was absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Fales requested that the public hearing on the appeal of the Shell Oil <br />Company be opened and continued until March 17, 1969. <br /> <br /> Mr. Fales also requested that the recommended public hearing date for the <br />rezoning from the "A" District to the "PUD" District, that property described <br />in Assessor's Map Book 941, Block 950, be changed from March 17 to March 10, 1969. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos and seconded by Councilman Beratlis <br />that the following items on the Consent Calendar, be approved: <br /> <br />1. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-28, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract <br /> No. 2950, Val Vista, Unit No. 1. <br /> <br />2. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-29, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract <br /> No. 2951, Val Vista, Unit No. 2. <br /> <br />3. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-30, authorizing Progress payment No. 4, in the <br /> amount of $18,491.O3, to Western Empire Construction Company, for construction <br /> work done on the Pleasanton Main Fire Station. <br /> <br />4. Scheduling the public hearing on the application from the Planning Commission <br /> for an amendment to Ordinance No. 520, rezoning from the '~" District to the <br /> "O" District and the "P" District that property described as the southwest <br /> corner of Black Avenue and Santa Rita Road, containing approximately 11.25 <br /> acres, at 8:00 P.M., on March 10, 1969. <br /> <br />5. Scheduling the public hearing on the application of the Planning Commission <br /> for an amendment to Ordinance No. 520, rezoning from the '~" District to the <br /> P.U.D. District that property described in Assessor's Map Book 941, Block <br /> 950, containing approximately 78 acres located south of West Las Positas <br /> Blvd., west of Route 680, east of Foothill Road and north of Bernal Avenue, <br /> at 8:00 P.M. on March 10, 1969. <br /> <br />6. Scheduling the public hearing on the application of the Planning Commission <br /> for an amendment to Ordinance No. 520, rezoning from an RM-2500 District, <br /> allowing 2500 square feet of land per unit, to an RM-1500 District, allowing <br /> 1500 square feet of land per unit, that area described as Parcel 118 of <br /> Fairlands, Tract No. 2639, Unit No. 3, located on the west side of Fairlands <br /> Drive, and due north of West Las Positas Blvd., containing approximately 4.9 <br /> acres, at 8:00 P.M., on March 10, 1969. <br /> <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiltotopoulos and Mayor Gerton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
