24.5' <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Gerton and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the <br /> City Manager initiate a capacity study of the Valley Community Services District <br /> Sewage Treatment Plant to determine the fact that that Plant can handle the <br /> effluent from the City of Pleasanton at such time the City phases out its own <br /> sewage treatment plant. <br /> The roll call vo.~e. was a.~fqllows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Gerton asked Mr. Fales when the final decision regarding the detachment <br /> of the area of City Annexations No. 53 and 56 from the Valley Community Services <br /> District will be made. <br /> Mr. Fales explained that the City of Pleasanton and VCSD will not be able to <br /> reach an agreement regarding the division of assets and liabilities within this <br /> area and asked that he be authorized to request the Local Agency Formation Com- <br /> mission to undertake the division of assets and liabilities. <br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid and seconded by Councilman Rega that the City <br /> Manager advise the Local Agency Formation Commission that the City of Pleasanton <br />[f~ and the Valley Community Services District cannot reach agreement regarding the <br />,-~ division of assets and liabilities in the area of Annexations No. 53 and 56, and <br />C~D request the IAFC to undertake such division. <br />~D The roll call vote was as follows: <br />L~ AYES: Councilmen Betaills, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br />~"~ NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> MEETING OPEN TOT HE PUBLIC <br /> No one addressed the Chair. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:00 P.M., it was moved by Councilman <br /> Rega and seconded by Councilman Reid that the meeting be adjourned to meet again <br /> in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M. on February 17, 1969. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> . ~,j~.,-~-- C-'rtc-CLa~ <br /> HELEN C, McCARTY, City Clerk <br /> <br /> BERNARD T.
