203 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> January 27, 1969 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG <br /> Mayor Bernard Gerton called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present. <br />Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City <br />Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Castro, <br />Director of Planning, was absent. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> There were no amendments to the agenda. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />1. Waiving of the reading of Ordinance No. 544, adopting the precise plan lines <br /> for Bernal Avenue, Ray Street, Peters Avenue, Vine Street, Del Valle Parkway, <br /> Santa Rita Road-Tassajara Road and Division Street. <br /> <br />2. Adoption of Ordinance No. 544. <br /> <br />3. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-12, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract <br /> No. 2943, Stoneridge, Unit No. 1. <br /> <br />4. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-13, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract <br /> No. 2940, Pleasanton Valley, Unit No. 11. <br /> <br />5. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-14, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract <br /> No. 3023, Arroyo del rrado, Unit No. 2. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> Froposed Annexation designated Annexation No. 57 <br />Mayor Gerton declared the Public Hearing on proposed Annexation No. 57, open. <br />Mr. Fales stated that this annexation includes approximately 13.3 acres <br />generally located adjacent to First Street and Stanley Boulevard, and includes the <br />First Street Bridge and Irby's Drive-In. <br /> The City Clerk reported that no written protests had been received. <br /> There being no public protests to this annexation, it was moved by Councilman <br />Reid and seconded by Councilman Rega that the Public Hearing be closed. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilman Reid and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that <br />Resolution No. 69-15, finding no majority protest in the matter of Annexation <br />57~ be adopted. <br />The roll call vot~ was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
