203 MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL Pleasanton, California January 27, 1969 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FlAG Mayor Bernard Gerton called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present. Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City Attorney, and Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, were present. Mr. Castro, Director of Planning, was absent. AGENDA AMENDMENTS There were no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Spiliotopoulos that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: 1. Waiving of the reading of Ordinance No. 544, adopting the precise plan lines for Bernal Avenue, Ray Street, Peters Avenue, Vine Street, Del Valle Parkway, Santa Rita Road-Tassajara Road and Division Street. 2. Adoption of Ordinance No. 544. 3. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-12, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract No. 2943, Stoneridge, Unit No. 1. 4. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-13, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract No. 2940, Pleasanton Valley, Unit No. 11. 5. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-14, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract No. 3023, Arroyo del rrado, Unit No. 2. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton NOES: None ABSENT: None PUBLIC HEARINGS Froposed Annexation designated Annexation No. 57 Mayor Gerton declared the Public Hearing on proposed Annexation No. 57, open. Mr. Fales stated that this annexation includes approximately 13.3 acres generally located adjacent to First Street and Stanley Boulevard, and includes the First Street Bridge and Irby's Drive-In. The City Clerk reported that no written protests had been received. There being no public protests to this annexation, it was moved by Councilman Reid and seconded by Councilman Rega that the Public Hearing be closed. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton NOES: None ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilman Reid and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that Resolution No. 69-15, finding no majority protest in the matter of Annexation 57~ be adopted. The roll call vot~ was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton NOES: None ABSENT: None
