<br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO FLAG
<br /> Mayor Bernard Getton called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council
<br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the pledge of allegiance to the flag.
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> City Clerk Helen McCarty called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Gerton were present.
<br />Mr. Fales, City Manager, Mr. Edgar, Assistant City Manager, Mr. Hirst, City
<br />Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of Public Works, and Mr. Castro, Director of
<br />Planning, were present.
<br />
<br />AGENDAAMENDMENTS
<br /> Councilman Rega requested that the adoption of Ordinance No. 542, which would
<br />change the terms of the Planning and Recreation and Parks Commission, be removed
<br />from the Consent Calendar.
<br /> After extensive discussion on this matter and also on Resolution No. 69-2,
<br />adopted January 13, 1969, which limits the terms and rotation of chairmen of these
<br />Commissions, Councilman Rega requested that Ordinance No. 542 be placed back on
<br />the Consent Calendar for adoption and that Resolution No. 69-2 be placed on the
<br />agenda for January 27, 1968, for reconsideration.
<br />
<br /> Councilman Spiliotopoulos requested that the adoption of a fee schedule for
<br />planning and zoning fees be removed from the Consent Calendar for discussion on
<br />the change from $15.00 to $35.00 for a Variance fee.
<br /> After some discussion on this matter, it was moved by Councilman Spiliotopoulos
<br />and seconded by Councilman Rega that Resolution No. 69-7, Establishing a fee
<br />schedule for planning and zoning applications as listed in the report of the
<br />Director of Planning, dated January 20, 1969, with the correction of changing
<br />the Variance fee back to $15.00, be adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmen Beratlis, Rega, Reid, Spiliotopoulos and Mayor Getton
<br />NOES: None
<br />ABSENT: None

<br />CONSENT CALENDAR
<br /> It was moved by Councilman Rega and seconded by Councilman Beratlis that the
<br />following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved:
<br />
<br />1. Waiving of the reading of Ordinance No. 542, amending Ordinance Nos. 243 and
<br /> 426, changing the terms of the Planning and Recreation and Park Commissioners
<br /> from three to four years,providing for annual rotation of the chairman and
<br /> vice chairman.
<br />
<br />2. Adoption of Ordinance No. 542.
<br />
<br />3. Waiving of the reading of Ordinance No. 543, amending Ordinance No. 520, re-
<br /> zoning from the Industrial Park District to the P.U.D. District, that parcel
<br /> of land described as a portion of Parcel 2, Block 1250, Assessor's Map Book
<br /> 946, containing approximately 60 acres.

<br />4. Adoption of Ordinance No. 543.
<br />
<br />5o Adoption of Resolution No. 69-8, approving the specifications and calling for
<br /> bids on the City Vehicles for February 13, 1969, at 4:00 P.M.
<br />
<br />6. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-9, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract
<br /> No. 2843, Stonegate, Unit No. 1.
<br />
<br />7. Adoption of Resolution No. 69-10, accepting the Public Improvements in Tract
<br /> No. 2905, Arroyo del Prado, Unit No. 1.
